FINCA finally introduced savings products to customers in the northern part of Malawi. This is a continued financial inclusion initiative that FINCA is advancing after accessing the Deposit Taking licence.

People patronise FINCA Savings promotions during the launch

According to the marketing manager Samson Mwalungila “FINCA is now a comprehensive financial service provider that protects and accumulates the wealth of customers including economically disadvantaged population hence offering best-ever savings products in Malawi’’.

FINCA savings products include FINCA saver account which is an ordinary savings account offering higher interest rate and FINCA fixed account both accessible to individual, group, club and companies.

The services are now available at Karonga branch, Katoto branch in Mzuzu and Mzimba branch. The launch was followed by a promotional campaign to ensure customers are aware of the savings products.
